The last 15 years Emily has been working as a voluntary Safeguarding Officer for St Georges Church of England Battersea Fields, committing herself to the safeguarding of children & young people and vulnerable adults across the parishes. Emily has led the Children’s Sunday School for over 18 years nurturing and caring for over 70 of those children as her own. Emily is a Trustee for the Local Church of England church.
Emily also has 16 years’ experience as a Foundation School Governor for the Diocese of Southwark as the Chair of the Curriculum Committee to one of the local primary schools. She retired from this recently to help cover all of the above
During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Emily has managed to run a voluntary support/care & prayer network for vulnerable adults & children supporting them with prayers and mental well-being. Emily enjoys baking cakes & pies and have been baking for NHS keyworkers, vulnerable adults & children during this corona virus pandemic.
Emily has over 20 years of experience in the window maintenance manufacturing industry. As a member of our team, Emily has a deep knowledge of Construction industry and is our main policy lead in terms of keeping up to date with the latest Safeguarding Policies, FENSA legislation and good practice guidance.
